Gmail access
The Gmail connector requests only gmail.readonly. It reads recent messages and threads selected by the operator to produce a private morning briefing, identify action items, and surface relevant newsletter links.
What it can do
Read bounded recent email content and metadata, retain supporting evidence locally, and create local summaries and proposed actions.
What it cannot do
It cannot send, delete, trash, label, or modify email. It does not download attachments through this connector.
The application is operated privately for its owner. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models.
Data control
The operator controls the Raspberry Pi, local credentials, retained evidence, and reports. Access can be revoked from the Google Account permissions page, and locally stored data can be deleted by the operator.
